i   “bring”   to   attention   the   indian   scholar   dr.   m.  rafi ud din
His  book   “Ideology   of  the   Future”   is  a  published  version  of  his  phd   in  which   he   makes  a   psychological   and  philosophical   argument   for  islam,
a   careful   reading   of  this   work   will   prove   most   rewarding

——-

i  Also   wish  to  call   attention   to   many   good   books   published   by  “sh.  muhammad  ashraf,  kashmiri  bazar  – lahore”.
Many  of   the   older   generation  purchased  many  books   by  the  publisher,   there   is   today  a   tendency  to   discard  these   books  because   they  are  aesthetically   not   so  appealing.
i   Would  like  to  caution   against  discarding  these   books  as   many   titles   are  a   real   education.

When   visiting   india  pakistan   do   make   a  point  of  looking  out  for   books;   visit  universities,   colleges,  academies,  historical  societies…these   are  treasure  islands   of   great   islamic   AND   other   books.

It   is   very   important   for   parents   to   take   a   keen   serious   academic   intellectual   interest   in   Islam   AND   that   children   see   their    parent’s   mental   cerebral   engagement   with   Islam   and   parents   include   children   in   this,   parents   must   also   share   this   intellectual   engagement   with   children   and   the   larger   family.

i   humbly   recommend   the   following   introduction   to   the   Qur’an.

It   is   an   academic   introductory   well   structured   introduction   to   the   complex   phenomenon   that   the   Qur’an   is.   A   study   of   this   book   will   foster   a   greater   appreciation   of   the   Qur’an   and   put   the   reader   on   the   path    to   a   deeper   historical   understanding   of   the   Qur’an.

REMEMBER:   Intellectually   active   AND   involved   parents   are   crucial   to   a   childs   learning   Islam.

Islam   is   wonderful,   Dominant   Managed   Islam   ruined   it.
