use of asthma pump does NOT render saum/fast/roza invalid

This   is   a   small   effort   to   undo   the   grotesque-ing   of   islam   by   anti-ilms,   anti-ulama,   anti-rahma   tyrants   and   despots

In   Q & A on   radio,   in   newspapers,   etc   they   answer   the   query   as   to   whether   the   use   of   the   asthma   pump   by   a   fasting   person   renders   the   fast   invalid   in   the   affirmative,   that   is   that   the   use   of   the   asthma   pump   by   a   fasting   person   DOES   render   the   fast   invalid.   They   “use”   classical   fiqh   that   anything   that   enters   the   mouth   voluntarily  renders   the   fast   invalid.

In   my   opinion   using   an   asthma   pump   is   a   medical   necessity.   It   is  NOT   an   act   of   eating.   Hence its   use   does   NOT   invalidate   the   fast.

And   ALLAH   is  Rahmaan   and   Rahiim   and   Nabi  Muhammad   is   Rahiim

With reference to women mu’had’di’thaat like Kariimah al’Marwaziyyah and others mentioned by Siddique,  i (maulana munir hassan) note  that there is no mention whatsoever of scholarly works – commentaries on hadiith,   etc… - by these mu’had’di’thaat. Where is the “Fat’hul Baari” by a lady muhadditha.

We   use   ibnu  Hajar,  Ayniy,  Nawawiy,  Qastalaniy,  Anwar Shah Kasmiiriy, Hashiyaat  of  Sindhi…..etc,   etc,   etc…  but   where   are   the   works   by   the   “many”   women   ulama? 

 

Some scholars list scores of teachers of Bukhaariy’s Sahiih, but not one commentary by a lady scholar.

 

Reader, do you know of any commentary of Bukhaariy’s Sahiih in use by a lady scholar.

Look  at  other  seats  of  learning,  they  are  teaching  space  law,  their  students  are  drafting  charters,  protocols…  on  climate  justice.

Lady   Kariimah,  the  great   scholar   of   Hadiith

Kariimah (b.  363,  d.  463)   -  daughter   Ahmad   son   of   Muhammad   son  of   Haatim  –   was   lady   scholar,   learned   woman,   and   narrator-teacher   of   Hadiith.   She   was   known   by   the   sobriquet   Ummul  Kiraam  (mother  of  ).

She   lived   in   the   holy   precincts   of   Allah’s   holy   city,   the   most   noble  (mu’kar’ra’mah)   Makkah.

 

She   studied   the   Sa’hiih of Bu’khaa’riyy   under (sa’mi’at   min)   Abul  Hay’thum  al’Kush’mii’ha’niyy.   She   also   studied   under   Zaa’hir  ibnu  Ahmad  as’Sa’rakh’siy   and   Abdullah  ibnu  Yuusuf  ibnu  Baa’mu’waeh  al’Isba’haa’niy.

 

When   narrating-teaching   Hadiith   she   would   refer   to   her   copy   of   Hadiiths.   She   was   a   scholar   of   great   understanding   and   knowledge   which   she   combined   with   philanthropy (khair)   and   devotion   (worship).   She   taught (rawat: or   narrated)   the   Sahiih of Bu’khaa’riyy   many   times.   On   one   occasion   her   reader   and   teaching   assistant (bi’ qi’raa’a'ti)   was   Abu Bakr al’Khatiib, al’Bagh’daa’diy   during   gjkjghjk.   She   was   a   celibate   who   never   married   at   all.  

The   following   studied (had’da’tha  an’haa)  Hadiith   under   her:

t  Abu Bakr al’Khatiib, al’Bagh’daa’diy

t  Abu  Taalib al’Husayn  ibnu  Muhammad  az’Zaynabiy

t  Muhammad  ibnu  Barakaat  as’Sa’iidiy

t  Ali  ibnul  Husayn  al’Farraa’

t  Abdullah  ibnu  Muhammad  ibnu  Sadaqah  ibnul  Ghazaal

t  Abul  Qaasim  ibnu  Ib’raa’hiim  an’Nasiib

t  Abul  Mudhaffar  Mansuur  ibnus  Sam’aaniy  and  others.

 

Lady   Kariimah’s   meticulousness  in   the   transmission   of   Hadiith

Abul  Gha’naa’im  an’Narsiy  said:  “Kariimah   placed   before   me  a   copy   of   the   Sahiih [of Bu'khaa'riyy],   i   sat   opposite   her / face   to   face   with   her   and   copied   seven   pages,   i   then   read   the   pages,   i   then   wanted   to   check   my   copy   against   Kariimah’s   text   by   myself.   Kariimah   said,  “No,   check   your   copy   with   my   text   [that   is:   confirm   the   accuracy   of   your   copy]   with   me.”   i   then   did   so.   We   jointly   checked   the   conformity   of   my   copy   with   Kariimah’s   text.   i   also   read   to   her   some   hadiiths   from   Zaa’hir.”

Abu Bakr as’Sam’aa’niy  said,   “i   heard   my   father   talking   about   Kariimah   and   he   said,   “Has   anybody   seen   someone   like   Kariimah!” “

Abu Bak   said,   “i   heard   my   brother’s   daughter,   Kariimah,   saying,   “Kariimah   never   married.   Her   father   was   from   Kush’mii’han,   he   took (kharaja  bi’haa)   her   to   Baytul  Maqdis (Jerusalem)   and   brought   her   back   to   Makkah.” “

 

Kariimah   was   a   centenarian.

She   lived   a   long   life   full   of   knowledge   and   goodness..

 

O   Allah   shower   your   mercies   upon   her.
