once upon a time
my first employment - teacher in islamiyyaat (islamic sciences) at an islamic school
paucity of teaching content - NO syllabus, NO curriculum
taught the class a prayer, the so-called Shaafi’ii Qunuut to the class
a pupil’s cousin is an Aalimah(scholar of Islam - an islam from which i am a fugitive) - she(Aalimah) hears her cousin learning the qunuut - telephones the trustees - why is Maulana Munir teaching the Shafi’ii Qunuut to Hanafi children
i am called without prior notice to a diciplinary hearing - come to school - the principal comes to me - tells me that the board is calling me for a disciplinary hearing
i go to the disciplinary hearing - “WHY ARE YOU TEACHING THE SHAAFI’II QUNUUT TO HANAFI CHILDREN?!”
CHARGED AND FOUND GUILTY OF TREASON.
